Community Safety Announcement
All High Point Residents

Please be aware that all roads in High Point are County Owned. This means that anyone can enter our community without notice. This applies to autos, motorcycles, bicycles, etc, as well as walking on the roads. The Information Booth is not a Security Building and has no authority to stop or question anyone on the roads in High Point. This also applies to our Mobile Patrol, although both will make notes and report to the HP office if any suspicions are raised. There is also a security camera system and plate readers at the Information Booth that can assist with identifying possible criminal activity.

The Board of Directors is aware we have issues with non-residents entering the community, and while we get some information from our Info Booth and Mobile Patrol, HP residents are an important source of information.

If, at any time of the day or night, you observe vehicles or individuals acting suspiciously, please call 911, or the Sheriff’s Non Emergency Number at

352-754-6830. DO NOT ENGAGE ANY INDIVIDUALS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!! Report any suspicions to the High Point Office either in person, or by calling

352-596-2397.
